Custom Steel Boats, Inc. has compiled a great team of subcontractors to handle the mechanical portion of our construction projects. Each one specializes in their given field and will bring fresh insight to each project. Available for consultation, they will work with the client throughout the planning and construction process.

Mayda Barker, owner of Mayda Marine Services, has joined the CSB team as chief mechanical technician. Mayda is responsible for overseeing the installation of all mechanical systems. His goal is to anticipate problems before they happen and adjust the design prior to installation. Mayda strives to provide top quality service and will work with each client individually ensuring he meets their criteria for mechanical installation.

Martin's Marine Service provides heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, and basic marine service for our clients. Danny Martin, master dealer for Cruisair, works with the clients making sure he understands their basic requirements and provides the best source of cooling for their individual needs. He has worked with our company for many years and provides extremely prompt service.

The electrical portion of the boat construction is headed up by brothers Steve and Clayton Gilpin of Offshore Marine Electrical. Both brothers work well with our customers providing sensible suggestions that not only work but make the clients appreciate the forethought that is carefully planned during construction. While Clayton and his crew concentrate on electrical, Steve handles installation and troubleshooting of electronics. Both are proficient in electrical and electronics and with many years of marine electrical experience, their teamwork provides our clients with the best possible service.
